Job Description
The Office of Senator Mark Kelly seeks a detail-oriented and highly motivated individual to serve as a Press/Digital Assistant on his active communications team. This role will be based in either the Washington, D.C. or Phoenix office. The ideal candidate has political communications experience and has demonstrated strong professional writing skills.
Primary responsibilities include drafting press advisories, statements, social media content, video scripts, memos and other written materials for the department; tracking and compiling news clips; and assisting the press and digital teams with events.
Candidates with Arizona ties preferred, and written and verbal Spanish proficiency highly desired. This position offers a salary of $52,785 and is eligible for benefits.
