About the Position: Serves as a Congressional Liaison Specialist for the HQ, U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC), and provides the full range of liaison support to expeditiously resolve congressional inquiries and analyze and recommend procedures to improve congressional special interest programs.
Duties
Brief command group and public/congressional affairs officers on potential controversies.
Measure efficiencies of special interest administrative and technical programs to recommend methods of resolving congressional inquiries and improving special interest programs.
Conduct qualitative analysis of problem areas identified by congressional Inquiries.
Monitor and support congressional special interest programs.
Analyze written and telephonic inquiries to identify relevant issues, performs required research and identifies sources of information required for resolution of inquiries.
Develop comprehensive replies and information papers for the approval and signature of AMC senior leadership, Department of Army, OSD.
