The Senate Committee on Finance Office of the Chairman is seeking a health policy intern or law clerk to assist the Committee’s trade team for the Winter/Spring of 2024. Interns and law clerks routinely assist senior committee staff with legislative research projects, hearings, and other substantive assignments and administrative tasks. Previous interns and fellows have worked on a variety of health issues, including Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, judicial challenges of health care law, prescription drugs pricing reform, and expansion of health insurance coverage.

Diverse candidates are highly encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates would be current graduate or law students with a demonstrated interest in health policy. Often students are able to receive college credit for participating in the program. This position will start in early January 2024.
