The Biden For President campaign is looking for a detail-oriented leader to oversee photo and video capture of the president and other campaign principals. This is a senior-level strategic role on the creative team, working at the intersection of creative, production, and principal travel.

The ideal candidate for this role has experience managing content and video producers, a deep understanding of what constitutes valuable photo and video imagery on a campaign, and the ability to successfully lead and collaborate in high-pressure environments. The position is full-time and based in Wilmington, DE, with limited travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the strategic and creative aspects of capturing photo and video content of the president and other campaign principals
  • Work closely with the creative director and other creative team leadership to plan for content capture that yields high-quality imagery for use on social media and in advertising
  • Manage a team of 4–8 photographers and videographers and collaborate with media vendors, press, and advance to balance the needs of all parties covering events
  • Manage media to ensure footage is properly tagged, cataloged, and approved for distribution

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a management role in video production, with a preference for experience in news, documentary, or political production
  • Strong creative vision regarding the potential for video and photo assets captured at live events
  • Strong understanding of campaigns and politics
  • Experience working on a campaign or with White House advance preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Willingness to relocate to Wilmington, DE
