Finance Director for Democratic Super PAC (Remote)

About Us: We’re a Democratic Super PAC working to defeat GOP congressmembers in competitive races across the country. We are running digital ads in our Tier 1 districts and we are looking for an energetic Finance Director to help us expand to our Tier 2 districts. The Finance Director will report directly to the Executive Director. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor, prove yourself, and be a leader at an emerging Super PAC.

Responsibilities: The Finance Director’s main responsibility will be calling hundreds of Democratic donors every day and identifying leads for the Executive Director to follow up with via phone, via Zoom, or in person, which has proved effective for us in the past. For Zoom and in person meetings, the Finance Director will conduct research on the donor and produce brief memos for the Executive Director to prepare for the meeting. There will also be light scheduling duties for the Executive Director.

Priority Qualifications

- At least 1-2 cycles in political fundraising where you successfully cold called potential

contributors for donations.

- Strong with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and fundraising software such as NGP.

- Attention to detail, especially when scheduling meetings and creating donor memos.

- Passionate, persistent, coachable, excited to learn, ambitious, and have a positive attitude.

- Eager to ask questions and suggest new ideas.

Location: Remote

Start Date: September 7, 2021

Supervisor: The Finance Director reports directly to the Executive Director.

Hours: 40 Per Week

Salary: $3,500 to $4,000 per month depending on experience

Duration: 2 Months with possibility for extension depending on dollars raised.
