For over 50 years Riverview Community Action Corporation (RCAC) has sponsored a multi-faceted senior center and community outreach programs to meet the needs of older residents of the Oakmont and Verona twin boroughs and neighboring communities. RCAC is a private, non-profit organization committed to advancing age-friendly policies/practices and multi-generational engagement.

RCAC is seeking a full-time Executive Director. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of RCAC in accordance with current federal, state and local regulations, standards and guidelines.

Ø Collaborate with board of directors to develop/implement strategic plan and diversified business model;

Ø Implement and enforce policies as established by the board of directors;

Ø Provide direction/supervision for overall day-to-day operation of RCAC;

Ø Provide recommendations to the board to innovate older adult programming in line with PA Department of Aging and Allegheny County Area Agency on Aging;

Ø Supervise all paid staff members and volunteers of RCAC;

Ø Partner with board as key driver of fund-raising activities and resource development.

Ø Bachelor’s Degree in gerontology, human/social services, health services, wellness/lifestyle engagement, or related area.

Ø Required Skills:

o Administration, finance and budget preparation

o Program development and implementation

o Supervision and development of staff and volunteers

o Experience with fundraising, grant-writing, etc.

o Experience with community engagement

o Proactive communications and marketing
