Opportunity

Responsibilities
- Manage post-submission client caseload check-in schedule
- Serve as main point of contact for clients who have updates for IRAP after the formal submission of their application to an adjudicator
- Conduct client screening and intake interviews, over the phone and in person.
- Draft intake, correspondence, and other documents as needed
- Organize/update case files and maintain client file database
- Attend occasional trainings, capacity-building meetings, and other events relevant to human rights and refugee issues
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- BA in legal and / or humanitarian field or related fields - MA in related field is a plus
- Lebanese national or legal resident
- Arabic fluency required, native speaker level preferred
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced and high-pressure work environment
- Highly organized and motivated with excellent time management skills
- Able to multitask and manage a high volume workload
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Sensitivity to client empowerment and to working with clients of all backgrounds, including LGBTI clients, survivors of trauma, and other vulnerable populations.
- Prior nonprofit/NGO employment is a plus, especially in the international humanitarian context
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and Google Suite.
Location: The candidate will work in IRAP’s Lebanon office in Beirut.
Compensation
The annual full-time equivalent salary range for this position is $61,545 - $82,771 commensurate with experience and office location.
