About the Team:
The Global Public Policy team’s work spans a broad and diverse range of functions and workstreams, including government affairs and government relations; product, policy, and issue area expertise; risk and crisis management and mitigation; outreach, coalitions, and partnerships; and philanthropy. The mission of the Global Public Policy team is to prevent, manage, and mitigate political, legislative, and regulatory threats to TikTok products and to promote a political, legislative, and regulatory environment that supports growth and innovation for our business.
We are seeking a highly motivated and multi-skilled individual to join TikTok's AMS Public Policy team as the Advocacy and Research Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the development and execution of various grassroots mobilization and advocacy efforts and conducting research. You will also be responsible for coordinating the team's work with external polling agencies and organizations to test, design, and target messages, and measure the impact of both our paid media and mobilization efforts.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate qualitative and quantitative polling to gather valuable insights.
- Quantify the effects of paid media and mobilization endeavors.
- Maintain open and clear communication channels with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the Government Relations (GR) team and Impact Lead to establish cohesive strategic alignment.
- Examine industry trends, benchmarks, and research methodologies.
- Leverage existing research and resources to engage decision-makers effectively.
- Draw key insights aimed at informing broader campaign strategy and material development.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Policy, Political Science, Business Administration) or equivalent practical experience
- Deep understanding of politics and campaigns
- Experience with political research, polling, and message testing
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and time management skills; proven ability to meet deadlines under minimum supervision
- Deep curiosity, detail oriented, with a strong desire to understand and synthesize "how the dots connect"
- Ability to communicate effectively and express complex ideas succinctly
- Ability to interpret business data in order to provide strategy recommendations
- Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment and work under pressure
