Speechwriting Fellow

The Office of House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer is seeking a Speechwriting Fellow for the Fall to assist with the drafting of remarks, press statements, video scripts, and other written materials. This fellowship is aimed at those with a strong background in writing and research who are interested in pursuing careers in speechwriting or honing their speechwriting skills for work in communications or policy roles on Capitol Hill. Candidates must possess superb writing, editing, and research skills; creativity; a sharp attention to detail; and an ability to work under deadline pressure. Candidates representing a diversity of backgrounds and prior experience are encouraged to apply.
