Our client is in search of a Political Ad Coordinator to join their team in Bethesda, MD.

The pay-rate is $17-20/hour

with a pay-raise upon working a certain amount of hours. This is a contract position that's hybrid (3 days in-office)

Job Description:

  • Accurately enter and transmit spot cable media schedules for political campaigns and issue groups, including presidential, federal, state, and local elections
  • Process revisions according to Agency and Affiliate requirements under tight deadlines
  • Work with assigned political sales team to complete daily tasks including data entry of rates for ad buys and order confirmations
  • Provide superior customer service to clients comprised of the top media agencies representing political advertisers on all sides
  • Maintain clear lines of communication with cable, satellite, telco, and online affiliates to ensure ad buys are airing according to geographic and demographic targeting
  • Produce reports to Account Executive to assist with ad buy proposals for geographic and demographic targeting of specific voters
  • Dispense spending reports on all political orders to ensure equal opportunities for competitive spending among candidates and issues group
  • Assist in preparation of media proposals and presentation materials for Account Executives to present to their agency clients
  • Assist management with special projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Accuracy in numerical data entry
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to solve problems
  • Adaptability when managing workload and flexibility when working with others
  • Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
  • Previous experience working in a professional office setting
  • Ability to work overtime
