Job Description

CT Voters First - Campaign Manager

To apply: send resume to marcm2759@gmail.com and to info@ctvotersfirst.org

SUMMARY

Are you excited about helping our democracy and advancing electoral reform in Connecticut? Do you have a strong interest in managing an issues or political campaign? If so, consider joining CT Voters First (CTVF) as our Campaign Manager, and help bring Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) and other electoral reforms to CT.

CTVF’s leaders seek a Campaign Manager to help scale the organization at the grass-tops and grassroots levels, while expanding the supporter base and fundraising. CTVF has made tremendous progress, including winning support from Governor Lamont and a broad group of legislators for a bi-partisan bill to let CT political parties use RCV in their caucuses, conventions and primaries (including POTUS primaries), and to let municipalities use RCV in certain elections.

Qualifications include non-profit and/or campaign leadership experience and the ability to recruit coalition partners and supporters, to organize a statewide issue advocacy campaign, to manage paid and volunteer resources, to fundraise, and to make day-to-day spending decisions. Applicants should have experience with media inquiries and appearances, and be able to serve as the organization’s public face. Also, because this is a start-up, a “no-job-is-too small” mentality is needed, although scaling will bring more support resources.

The CTVF Campaign Manager is a full-time role that can work remotely from anywhere in CT, with approximately 25% travel. You will also benefit from the engagement of CTVF’s Leadership Team, lobbyists and advocacy consultants, and national partners including Unite America, FairVote, Rank-the-Vote and RepresentUS. Learn more about CTVF’s success and objectives at https://ctvotersfirst.org/
