Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the ePortfolio Specialist, the ePortfolio Program Assistant/College Assistant supports the program by providing technical assistance to students, faculty, and staff members using ePortfolios. The successful candidate will:  

  • Provide user support for ePortfolio platforms, especially Digication, and possibly WordPress
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of support resources, including web content, manuals and how-to-guides
  • Assist with the development and delivery of trainings using a variety of delivery methods
  • Provide support planning and facilitating events related to the ePortfolios program 
  • Assist with platform administration, including user account maintenance
  • Maintain records of support services, and help in the development of usage and other reports
  • Additional duties as assigned 

Preferred Minimum:  

  • High school diploma/GED

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university 
  • Experience with content management systems, including ePortfolio platforms, preferably Digication
  • Experience with WordPress or WordPress-based platforms
  • Comfort with technology, web-based platforms, and eLearning tools, and ability to upskill quickly
  • Experience providing technology support
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience creating and editing multimedia (e.g., recording presentations, editing videos, annotating, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal 
  • Detail, results, and solution oriented
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
