Lyft is looking for a motivated, creative, and analytical Graduate-level Public Policy Intern to support our Public Policy leadership team for Summer 2020. Responsibilities:

Research current landscape and implications of emerging public policy issues facing Lyft and our industry
Interact with Legal, Product, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to assess the opportunities and risks to Lyft's business of current or future legislation and regulations
Present recommendations to Public Policy leadership team

Experience:

Currently pursuing a graduate degree (Juris Doctor, MBA, Master of Public Administration, or Master of Public Policy) with anticipated graduation in 2021 or 2022
Must be returning to school after the internship
Experience working independently but also collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and goal-driven environment
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong Google Suite skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Previous experience in consulting, technology, transportation, and/or government a plus
Candidate should be passionate about Lyft and the various public policy issues associated with our industry
