About this role:
Reporting to head of External Relations, this position will provide strategic leadership and operational support for a variety of enterprise-wide initiatives. Additionally, this individual will manage the annual giving budget and event activations focused on public policy and political engagement. This position will sit at 1700 K Street, NW in Washington, DC and is required to be in the office 3 days a week. The Wells Fargo job profile is Senior Government Relations Specialist.

In this role, you will:
- Execute a variety of enterprise-wide initiatives in support of our brand and policy priorities
- Manage annual giving budget for trade associations, think tanks, and advocacy groups
- Process payments for Government Relations & Public Policy membership fees and sponsorships
- Partner with Events Management to execute large scale activations and events
- Develop reports and data visualizations, highlighting engagement and reputation metrics
- Create executive briefs that persuade and influence decision-makers
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Government Relations, Public Affairs or Legal experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience working for an elected official at the Federal, State or Local level
- Experience working with trade associations, think tanks, and advocacy groups
- Experience developing innovative event activation strategies that deliver results
- Experience mitigating risk throughout the vendor management lifecycle
- Experience influencing senior leaders, partners, and peers
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel and SharePoint
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
