Conservative Public Relations and Research firm seeks entry-level and experienced candidates for its growing team. We operate in a fast-paced environment to serve our high-profile clients, including conservative political campaigns, non-profits, and advocacy groups. We research and analyze complex issues, often under tight deadlines, generating actionable research and information for our clients. Candidates must be self-driven, team players, and have a strong work ethic. Experience in conservative political research, political campaigns, public affairs, or on Capitol Hill are a plus.


Responsibilities:


  • Compiling and writing thorough research backgrounders on policy issues and political candidates and organizations, presenting the information in a detailed and user-friendly manner
  • Preparing messaging documents and whitepapers to be used in advocacy campaigns and public-facing communications efforts
  • Writing sourced and accurate talking points, maintaining data sets, and producing other content as needed
  • Generating opposition research on Democratic candidates and officials
  • Researching a variety of public records, including campaign finance filings, legal and court records, personal financial disclosures, business records, tax filings, and legislative records
  • Reviewing other open-source information, including social media, news reports, live events, and publicly posted audio and video


Qualifications and Experience:


  • Desire or proven experience working to further conservative causes, candidates, and policies
  • Candidates should be critical thinkers, hard workers, problem solvers, and good writers
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to gather, analyze, and concisely summarize research into written content for both internal and external use
  • Any experience with research tools and databases such as LexisNexis, TV Eyes, legislative records, campaign finance filings, business records, legal and court records, or economic data is a plus
  • Strong candidates will have experience with a political campaign, issue advocacy group, media organization, think tank, member of Congress, or similar politically involved organization
