Political Regional Field Director - Republican Party of Wisconsin
Job Summary:
As a Political Regional Field Director for the Republican Party of Wisconsin, you will play a crucial role in orchestrating and executing key responsibilities related to the 2024 Presidential Campaign. The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in organizing, speaking to large and small groups, adaptability to ever-changing tasks, and interpersonal management skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct campaign operations for the Republican Presidential campaign and the Republican Party of Wisconsin in a specific geographic region.
- Recruit, oversee, and manage up to 7 field organizers by November 2024.
- Recruit, train, oversee, and manage interns throughout the region.
- Recruit, train, and activate neighborhood team leaders, core team members, and campus team leaders to organize multiple neighborhood team units per turf in the region.
- Activate volunteers for phone and door canvassing and other voter contact efforts.
- Activate volunteers for voter registration and petitioning efforts.
- Implement a means of communication to ensure staff, stakeholders, volunteers, and supervisors are kept up-to-date on activities in the region.
- Act as the face of the Republican Party at events and to all activists, stakeholders, and volunteers in the region.
- Assist the State Director and other event points of contact and act as the point person for all in-region campaign events.
- Assist RPW/RNC Comms with field/political organization to arrange earned media pieces and referral of surrogates.
- Assist RPW/RNC Outreach Coordinator/Strategic Initiatives Director with the referral of potential coalition members and assist with the development of events.
- Assist Data Director with the implementation of all software and data-related initiatives in the region.
- Additional duties as assigned by the State Director.
- Achieve metric-based goals and accurately report weekly progress as assigned.
- Availability: 7 days a week, with extended business hours every Thursday and as needed for events or other duties in the turf.
Qualifications & Experience:
The following are not required but highly recommended for this position:
- Canvassing Experience For A Political Campaign
- Management Experience
- Political Experience In The Republican Party and/or With Campaigns
Skills:
- Basic Computer Knowledge–Excel, Word, PPT
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to build and maintain a team of volunteers and staff
