The mission of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation is to honor the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. We also honor our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.


The Associate Director, Administration position will be instrumental in supporting the Foundation by managing the Donor Services and Donor Retention teams as well as working in conjunction with Director, Administration to work interdepartmentally. Candidate will need to streamline information dissemination to the team members, address and filter questions including donor issues and concerns on an organizational level; understand the protocols and systems in place for processing donations and event registrations, preparing correspondences and fulfilling requests to ensure donor satisfaction. The goal is to ensure excellent service standards and maintain a trusting relationship with donors and supporters. Candidate will work with Director, Administration to coordinate with Finance, Development and Marketing/Communications teams on outreach targeted at donors as well as systems in place for donor management and donation processing.


Associate Director, Administration will be supporting the Executive Vice President and Director of Administration on organization issues including systems IT and projects ad hoc.

Duties and responsibilities

• Work with Donor Services Supervisor and Associates to facilitate daily processes related to donor gift processing, including maintaining monthly giving program donor accounts, processing adjustments and reconciling requests received both electronically and via phone.

• Supporting the Executive Vice President and Director of Administration on organization issues including systems IT and projects ad hoc.

• Work with Supervisor to implement all back-office aspects of the collection process, including but not limited to large volume of phone calls; creating, maintaining and closing donor and supporter accounts as needed in Foundation CRM system.

• Actively engage with Donor Retention Analyst and Associates as part of retention program to ensure there is no lapse in efforts to retain recurring donors.

• Regular system reporting and analysis of donor related initiatives.

• Call Center experience a plus.


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• 5 years of experience required.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.

• Proven customer support experience.

• Familiar with CRM systems (i.e. Kindful, Salesforce), online event registration platforms (i.e. Classy, GoFundMe, Eventbrite)
