Overview: The campaign is seeking a a Director of Operations to join our dynamic team. The individual will play a critical leadership role in the campaign, overseeing daily operations to ensure organizational efficiency and campaign success. This position is responsible for managing logistics, coordinating cross-functional teams, and implementing strategic plans that support fundraising, outreach, and voter engagement efforts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact as part of a key, high-profile statewide race. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding organizational, communications, and problem-solving abilities and is highly motivated, passionate, detail-oriented, and enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


 


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement operational strategies to support the campaign’s goals and ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Coordinate logistics and staffing for campaign events, travel, and field operations.
  • Collaborate with communications, field, and finance teams to support their goals and resolve challenges.
  • Oversee relationships with vendors/suppliers and manage procurement/logistics.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior leadership.


 


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a political campaign or nonprofit setting.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Outstanding financial acumen and ability to analyze data.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of campaign finance, compliance, and event planning.
