Government Affairs Intern

The organization seeks a Government Affairs Intern for a fall internship focused on public health advocacy and policy. The intern will assist in researching advocacy areas, developing reports, and monitoring legislation while attending congressional hearings and policy events in Washington, DC. Ideal candidates are rising juniors or seniors in public policy, public administration, or related fields, with strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. The role requires approximately 20 hours per week in the Arlington, VA office from September to December 2026. This unpaid position offers Metro benefits and opportunities for academic credit.
