Job Description

ASP is on a mission to change the way people engage with ideas, culture, and policy — and we’re looking for a head of commercial partnerships to help us grow. This is a high-impact role where you'll be at the intersection of revenue, brand strategy, and innovation. You’ll work directly with ASP’s senior leadership to shape and execute our sales strategy, identify new opportunities, execute creative partnership solutions, and help scale our business while amplifying our mission-driven content.


You’ll be a key player on a fast-moving team, developing creative partnerships that drive revenue and expand our reach. You’ll see the direct impact of your work, from landing deals to shaping how audiences experience our content.

What You'll Do: 

  • Develop and execute bold sales strategies that drive revenue and expand ASP’s footprint
  • Identify opportunities, pitch creatively, and close deals across a wide range of sectors
  • Create standout proposals and presentations that show clients the value of partnering with ASP
  • Lead client meetings to uncover needs, identify opportunities, and craft effective solutions
  • Track performance, report on results, and continuously improve our approach
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure partnerships deliver meaningful results and impact

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven success in sales leadership, business development, or partnerships roles
  • Media experience is a plus
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to sell ideas to senior leaders and key partners
  • Experience working with national agencies and advertisers; existing client relationships are a strong plus
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and execute results
  • Location: DC, NY, or LA preferred
