Woodberry Associates seeks a mid-level public affairs manager to join its growing team of dynamic professionals.  

Based in Washington, DC, Woodberry Associates specializes in non-profit and coalition management and stakeholder engagement in the fields of health care and education policy. Our team is creative, collaborative and committed to exceeding our clients’ expectations.

Title: Manager, Non-Profit Management  

Location: Washington, DC

What You Do

• Support the Non-Profit Management team in the day-to-day management of non-profit and patient advocacy organizations

• Develop and execute broad awareness and advocacy campaigns that include a variety of programming and initiatives

• Manage relationships and coordinate meetings with members and allied stakeholders

• Research, distill, and communicate on health care policy topics

• Assist in the development of external communications, email marketing and social media content

• Conceptualize / develop stakeholder programming and events

Your Skills

• 3-5 years of experience working in public affairs, non-profit management, advocacy, policy, or campaign politics – experience for this position should not exceed 7 years

• Interest in healthcare advocacy

• Strong written and verbal communications and persuasion skills

• Organized and task-oriented

• Event management experience

• Ability to manage multiple projects at once

• Adaptability to meet changing priorities

• Sense of initiative, looking for opportunities to innovate and improve

• Willingness to learn and incorporate feedback
