Manager, Recurring Giving (Eagles Reserve)

Reports to: Associate Director, Individual Giving

Location: Remote

Travel: 5-10% annually

Status: Full-time, Exempt

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000

Overview

The Manager, Recurring Giving owns the strategy, growth, and health of Team RWB's Eagles Reserve recurring giving program, the organization's primary vehicle for building a sustainable individual giving revenue engine. This role is responsible for the full spectrum of program growth, to include: net-new donor acquisition, retention, stewardship, churn intervention, and upgrade pathways across the Eagles Reserve member base, all anchored to the Veteran as the unit of impact. Working closely with the Associate Director of Individual Giving, Marketing, Technology, and Operations, this role ensures every member receives a consistent, meaningful, and mission-aligned experience from their first gift through long-term partnership. This is a builder role: Eagles Reserve is a newly rebuilt program with a four-tier structure, impact-anchored messaging, a redesigned digital experience, and conversion campaigns targeting thousands of untapped donors, and the right candidate will make that vision operational.

Primary Responsibilities

Eagles Reserve Operations & Growth

● Own net-new donor acquisition for the Eagles Reserve; develop and execute an acquisition strategy that grows the member base, while managing the advertising and marketing channels that bring in new donors, with the Marketing team supporting execution.

●  Own the operational execution of the Eagles Reserve recurring giving program, member onboarding, stewardship touchpoints, renewal communications, and upgrade campaigns.

● Execute conversion campaigns targeting one-time donors and peer-to-peer fundraising participants, inviting them into the Eagles Reserve recurring giving pipeline.

● Manage the member lifecycle from acquisition through long-term retention, ensuring timely, personalized, and impact-driven communications.

● Monitor and intervene on churn risk, identifying at-risk members through payment failure patterns, engagement drops, and downgrade signals, and executing save campaigns.

Stewardship & Donor Experience

● Deliver the Eagles Reserve recognition model, including annual anniversary recognition and multi-year milestone gifts across the member base.

● Ensure gratitude and stewardship communications are timely, meaningful, and mission-aligned across the member lifecycle.

● Partner with Marketing and Communications to deliver high-quality donor communications and recognition experiences.

● Maintain and continuously improve onboarding email sequences and automated stewardship workflows.

● Hold every communication to the program standard: each touchpoint should either deepen a member's belief that their investment is enriching Veterans' lives or move them one step further into the community.

Data, Reporting & Measurement

● Track and report on Eagles Reserve KPIs including new acquisitions, churn rate, average revenue per member, conversion rate by source, upgrade rate, total recurring revenue, and campaign ROI.

● Maintain accurate donor records in Salesforce and ensure data hygiene across GoFundMe Pro and Salesforce systems.

● Produce monthly Eagles Reserve program dashboards for leadership review.

● Support the buildout and maintenance of Salesforce reporting dashboards and automated alerts for the program.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

● Coordinate with the peer-to-peer fundraising team to ensure post-event donor data flows into the conversion pipeline.

● Work with the Technology and Marketing teams on GoFundMe Pro configuration, Salesforce automation, and website integration for the Eagles Reserve giving experience.

● Support the Associate Director on broader individual giving initiatives as capacity allows.

Qualifications

● Passion for service to the country and the Veteran population.

● 4 to 7 years of experience in donor acquisition, fundraising operations, or nonprofit program management, ideally with direct ownership of revenue and growth targets.

● Experience managing recurring giving, membership, or subscription programs preferred.

● Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and digital fundraising platforms (GoFundMe Pro or similar).

● Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.

● Self-starter who thrives in a remote environment with minimal daily supervision.

● Bachelor's degree required. Veteran status preferred but not required.

● Willingness to travel and participate in Team RWB events.

What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)

●  Eagles Reserve is growing through a working acquisition engine, with net-new members entering via paid and organic channels at an improving cost per acquisition.

● The Eagles Reserve program is fully operational under the four-tier structure, with all transition communications executed and the member experience running smoothly.

● Conversion campaigns are running on a quarterly cadence, with measurable conversion rates from one-time and peer-to-peer donors into recurring giving.

● Churn rate is tracked, reported monthly, and declining through active intervention.

● Monthly Salesforce dashboards are produced and shared with leadership, providing clear visibility into program health.

● The recognition model is operational, with every member receiving an annual anniversary acknowledgment.

● The Associate Director is freed from day-to-day Eagles Reserve operations and able to focus on strategic growth across all individual giving streams.
