Job Description
Position Title
Philanthropy Officer
About the Company
Coaching4Change (C4C) accelerates learning through mentoring in underserved school districts. Through our paid internship program, C4C trains talented, diverse college students to serve as College Mentors who provide academic and social-emotional support to K-12 students in urban and gateway communities, including Northern Rhode Island, Taunton, Fall River, New Bedford, and Brockton. Our model creates two powerful outcomes. High-need students get the support they need to thrive: partner districts report that with C4C, 80% of students had higher attendance, 79% demonstrated better behavior, and 83% advanced academically. At the same time, BIPOC, first-generation, and multilingual college students gain paid work experience, leadership training, and career development, and 40% of graduating College Mentors receive job offers through their C4C internships. We pride ourselves on a friendly, fun, and inclusive culture where team members can be creative, own their work, and see their impact in the lives of students who need it most.
