Job Title: Program Manager, MDT Development (LJG)
Reports To: Director of SRCAC

The Southern Regional Children’s Advocacy Center (SRCAC) works each day to empower local communities to serve child victims of abuse compassionately and effectively. The National Children’s Advocacy Center (NCAC) is seeking a Director to lead our SRCAC Department.
About SRCAC
The Southern Regional Children's Advocacy Center (SRCAC) is a National Children's Advocacy Center (NCAC) project funded through the Department of Justice to provide training and technical assistance to communities working to provide a coordinated, collaborative response to child abuse. Currently, there are 457 Children's Advocacy Centers and 16 state Chapter networks of CACs within the Southern Region.
About the role:
The MDT Development Program Manager will support the SRCAC’s services to Children’s Advocacy Centers (CAC) and State Chapters in the Southern Region. The Program Manager will identify, develop, and deliver high-level learning experiences, resources, and publications to support the functioning of Multidisciplinary Teams (MDTs) at Children’s Advocacy Centers within the Southern Region.
The Department of Justice – Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention provides funding for this position. Continued employment is contingent upon the availability of grant funding for the project by the Department of Justice.
A typical day may include:
- Assessing region-wide strengths and challenges of MDTs and Team Facilitators and recommending strategies for improvement and support
- Identifying unmet needs and supporting the identification and implementation of promising practices related to MDTs and team facilitation.
- Providing training and technical assistance via phone/video consultations and on-site.
- Providing training via webinars, workshops at national and state conferences, and other in-person opportunities.
- Drafting publications, blog posts, and other resource materials to fill gaps in training and support of MDTs.
- Out-of-state travel, one to two times per month

Education and experience requirements for this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, or another related field.
- Minimum of three years of recent leadership experience in the CAC movement.
- Prefer significant experience designing and providing technical assistance and training.
- Prefer significant experience managing projects, committees, or work groups.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
Location and Hours
The NCAC main campus is located in downtown Huntsville, AL. Our standard business hours are 9:00 - 5:00 CT, Monday through Friday. This position will work 40 hours per week on-site in our SRCAC offices or remotely in the following states (Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia). All candidates must be within one hour of a major airport and live in the Eastern or Central time zones. Travel will be required (out-of-state travel one to two times per month, on average).
