About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Current Affairs Advisor to provide authoritative analysis and strategic insight on key political, economic, and geopolitical developments. This role is designed for seasoned professionals who can operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and contribute at a strategic level.
This is a remote, flexible engagement, suitable for senior advisors, subject-matter experts, or experienced analysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level analysis of regional and global current affairs, with a focus on geopolitics and policy implications
- Produce strategic briefs, analytical papers, and advisory notes for senior stakeholders
- Identify emerging risks, opportunities, and trends, offering forward-looking assessments
- Contribute expert input to the Foundation’s research outputs, events, and external engagement
- Offer independent judgment and scenario-based advice on complex and sensitive issues
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in international affairs, geopolitics, public policy, diplomacy, media, or think-tank environments
- Demonstrated expertise in current affairs analysis and strategic advisory work
- Strong analytical depth and the ability to translate complexity into clear insights
- Excellent written English and professional communication skills
- High level of discretion, credibility, and intellectual independence
