Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Democratic Hill staffer and/or government relations professional to provide exemplary service and strategic advice to our clients. This is a full-time hybrid role located in Washington, D.C., with some work-from-home flexibility. As a Strategist, you will play a critical role in supporting clients by researching and analyzing legislative, regulatory, and political developments. Successful candidates will be self-starters, with the ability to effectively juggle multiple clients and track the happenings and legislation of all clients and industries to which they are assigned.


Qualifications

  • Three or more years of leadership experience in House or Senate Member offices (Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, Leg. Director, etc.)
  • Relationships with House and Senate Leadership, Members of the CHC, CBC, CAPAC, New Dems
  • Ability to take initiative, self-manage, and multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills and responsiveness
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Subject matter expertise in health care, technology and telecom and/or prior government relations experience is a plus
