As our inaugural Vice President, Alumni, Career, and Life Design, you will oversee our Alumni Engagement and Career & Life Design program quality and outcomes, contributing to the ripple effect of transforming the lives of first-gen college students, their families, communities, and society. 

Day-to-day, you will identify new partnerships and strengthen existing ones; direct the strategy for both the Alumni Engagement and Career and Life Design workstreams; and cross-collaborate with leaders across College Track to support scholars in their quest for a life of opportunity, choice, and power. To thrive in this job, you must be able to think ahead and plan backward, see work from an intersectional lens, and have experience managing staff to a high standard of excellence.

  • You are passionate about building strategic relationships that advance opportunities for first-gen, underserved students
  • You can authentically advocate for, and explain, the value of College Track’s work to external audiences
  • You love working cross-departmentally to identify opportunities for collaboration in service of scholars
  • You have either (1) deep experience with Alumni Engagement or Career and Life Design or (2) breadth of experience across both domains
  • You have managed staff previously, joyfully being a coach and a thought partner
  • You are excited to work collaboratively with your colleagues in a hybrid role

This position is exempt, with a full New Orleans salary range of $116,137-$201,875. However, aligned with our DEI practices, we target the 50th percentile of the salary band at $157,462-$169,575. All offers are dependent upon experience.
