Job Description: We are seeking a passionate, strategic, and results-driven Communications & PR Lead Manager with a flair for storytelling. This role primarily supports AT&T's Small and Medium-Sized Business Portfolio, by planning and executing effective corporate communications programs.

Overall Purpose: Manage and lead complex external Public Relations (PR) communications programs. Responsibilities may include strategic planning, content development, media relations, video and digital asset creation, and news site placement.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Communications: Develop and execute tactical and external PR plans. Implement creative storytelling campaigns that captivate and inspire audiences.
  • Develop and Manage Communications: Write and oversee publication of both internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, microsites, blogs, speeches, talking points, and corporate messaging materials for conferences and seminars.
  • Internal Advisor: Advise internal business partners on upcoming issues, events, and stories that may impact the company’s reputation.
  • Pitch Writing and Media Engagement: Develop media pitches and cultivate media relationships for effective message delivery. Prepare media backgrounders and key reports.
  • Measure and Analyze Effectiveness: Analyze data provided by project teams and functional areas to craft compelling narratives that translate complex ideas into engaging content.
  • Monitor Industry News: Maintain an understanding of industry trends and conduct timely research on news coverage, issues, and industry reports affecting the company to inform team decision-making. Establish Relationships with Business Groups: Foster close relationships with the MidMarket Business Grous to communicate the company’s vision effectively and creatively to internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with Marketing and PR Teams: Work closely with these key partners to manage brand and corporate identity, ensuring a consistent and captivating brand story.
  • In-Depth Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of products, functions, and services, ensuring effective communication with customers, peer groups, and senior management.
  • Project Management: Manage special projects, serving as the subject matter expert on public-facing initiatives.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Coordinate with peers and managers across various business units to execute our public relations strategies.
  • Creative Storytelling: Shape public relations narratives, stories, and content, ensuring alignment with our company’s values, priorities, and leadership tone.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in related areas of responsibility.
  • Exceptional writing skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinking skills, with a proven ability to craft compelling narratives and innovative solutions.

Salary Range:

$105,600.00 - $158,400.00
