Strategic Planning & Execution

Create and maintain a campaign timeline, ensuring petitioning, outreach, and fundraising goals are met
Work directly with the candidate to shape and adjust campaign strategy

Team Coordination & Volunteer Management

Voter Outreach & Field Organizing

Plan and oversee voter engagement efforts including door-knocking, tabling, and visibility events
Track engagement metrics and coordinate with data entry volunteers

Fundraising & Budget Oversight

Assist with donor outreach, event planning, and campaign finance compliance (CFB filing optional but a plus)
Coordinate campaign materials, ads, and digital needs within budget

Communications & Digital Strategy

Work with digital volunteers or consultants to schedule content, track performance, and stay on message
Support media and press relations as needed

Compliance & Logistics

Ensure petitioning documents, signatures, and filings meet all NYC Board of Elections and Campaign Finance Board guidelines
Maintain organized digital records and communication systems

Qualifications:

Strong organizational and time management skills
Passion for local politics, equity, and community power
Experience with field organizing, grassroots campaigning, or local government a plus
Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, NationBuilder, VAN, or Trello/Notion is helpful
Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving campaign environment
Deep ties to Brooklyn—especially East New York, Brownsville, or surrounding neighborhoods—is a big plus
