Position: Youth Program Coordinator
ROLE OUTLINE
The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the implementation of workforce development programs and services under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). They play a critical role in supporting the workforce board's objectives and ensuring effective program performance.
Fluent in Spanish is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Program Coordination
a. Coordinate assigned workforce development programs for adults, dislocated workers, and youth.
b. Program performance data entry, pulling reports, and monitoring.
c. Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting requirements.
d. Monitor key performance metrics for program effectiveness.
e. Provide training and technical support to program and provider teams, ensuring the proper tools, resources, and knowledge f. Contribute to grant writing.
g. Attend and support public and partnership meetings.
h. Develop standard operating procedures.
i. Provide catalytic leadership and staff support to the Rogue Workforce Partnership's Sector Strategies effort.
j. Support Rapid Response activities for worker dislocations.
k. Benefits navigation and support for quality improvement and Local Leadership Team l. Success story quality assurance.
B. Performance data coordination
a. I-Trac systems support.
b. Ebridge systems support.
c. Dashboard and Smartsheet support.
d. Support Data Analyst QI on data validation and quality analysis projects.
e. Provide data entry support for service providers.
f. Common measures reporting.

C. Service Provider Partnerships
a. Align grant performance with sector strategies.
b. Develop and maintain relationships with key partners.
c. Convene partners around systems improvements.
d. Train regional partners in WSO Standards.
EXPERIENCE & TRAINING
- Three to five years of professional work experience that includes responsibility of coordinating projects, programs, or related duties.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training/education which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Demonstrated data entry and data analysis experience.
KNOWLEDGE & PROFICIENCY
- Program coordination methods, tools, and systems.
- Data collection and analysis for managing performance and generating business reports and metrics.
- Knowledge of public employment and training programs, and related community resource
- Privatesector business practices
- Business communications tools, methods, and practices
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Computer Skills Microsoft Office Suite and others
- Proficiency in using technology such as online meeting platforms and Microsoft Office programs, with the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues on a personal computer
- Apply critical thinking, problemsolving/solutionbuilding and system thinking skills in all aspects of leadership responsibilities.
- Work effectively as a team member and apply emotional intelligence competencies.
- Establish, cultivate, and maintain excellent relationships with other workforce partners.
- Convene and facilitate work teams consisting of leaders from business, education, and/or workforce organizations.
- Selfdirected with ability to create innovative solutions that identify, aggregate, anticipate and satisfy customer workforce and talent development needs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in Spanish, including the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken form with Spanish-speaking participants, families, and partners.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work is generally performed in an office or home office environment. Some travel and fieldwork required. Responsibilities may require work outside of traditional work hours.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The Program Coordinator must be able to perform the essential functions of the classification with or without reasonable accommodation.
DRIVING
This position requires the ability to travel, both within and outside of the service area. Must have a valid Oregon driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

LOCATION
The Rogue Workforce Partnership serves Jackson and Josephine Counties as a region. The position will be a hybrid of in-person and remote work and may travel within the region as needed.
