Founded in 1971, The Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy (ICP – www.icpnyc.org) is one of the oldest and largest not-for-profit mental health training and treatment facilities in New York City.

We are currently looking for a dynamic, well-organized team member to serve as administrator for two of ICP’s renowned training programs while being part of the general ICP administrative team.

The right candidate will need to be an excellent time-manager who can work autonomously and as a team member. The successful individual should be extremely organized, efficient, eloquent, and detail oriented - a creative thinker who can make a commitment and be the consummate diplomat. Excellent writing skills a must. Knowledge of electronic health records system a plus.

Applicants must be flexible and adapt quickly to change as specific responsibilities may evolve over time as the Institute and its Divisions evolve. Specifically, the position requires the candidate to:

·         Participate in all areas of program coordination including interface with division directors interested applicants, candidates, supervisors, instructors. Respond to telephone and email inquiries

·         Participate in Committee meetings, taking minutes and preparing materials pre and post meeting.

·         Organize and coordinate workshops, trainings, and open houses including CE applications

·         Maintain Intake Patient Tracking Database, assist in monitoring chart compliance, organizing chart materials

·         Collaborate on e-mail marketing campaigns, create marketing flyers as needed

·         Provide administrative support recruitment season. Sending, receiving, and tracking application materials and coordinating interviews

·         Assist faculty in preparing course materials

·         Track the progression of candidates in the program and approve them for graduation, coordinating evaluations and assistance with NYS license applications

·         Provide support, education, on-boarding, and orientation for Interns, Therapists, Candidates, Instructors, and Supervisors

·         Maintain up to date candidate and supervisor manuals, handbooks, and forms

Additional Qualifications:

In addition, the successful candidate will be a proven self-starter with a great deal of initiative who will work in close consultation and constant communication with senior leadership. Have previous related work experience, preferably in the field of mental health, excellent academic credentials and top-notch references from prior employers are required. Candidate with a strong interest in the mental health/psychology preferred. Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

Pay: From $32,240.00 per year
