Elections and Stakeholder Engagement Manager

Location: Dublin, Paris, London or Brussels (onsite)

The ideal candidate understands the importance of free expression online, understands electoral processes and is comfortable both delivering training on how to use X while also engaging with external stakeholders on our product and policy approaches. Someone with a proven track record of stakeholder engagement (external and internal) and ability to think on their feet while inspiring people to use X.

What you’ll do:

  • Represent X with key external partners in Government, political parties, election regulators and civil society. 
  • Develop materials and deliver training on X, including product and policy, for civil society organisations, political parties and governments. 
  • Drive adoption of new product features in these key audiences 
  • Support our risk assessment and strategic planning work ahead of key elections
  • Liaise with key stakeholders on issues affecting X and educating them on our approach to relevant issues and product features
  • Work with internal colleagues to share feedback and develop responses where necessary 
  • Support sales colleagues in the political advertising vertical 
  • Provide front-line support on issues requiring engagement, solving problems, and escalations. 

Requirements

  • Passion for free expression and X’s role as the global town square
  • 8+ years of experience in government, civil society, politics, or public policy; with experience in digital policy. 
  • Track record of understanding and working with online content creators and digital communications teams 
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a high volume of incoming requests
  • English fluency, spoken and written; additional language fluency strongly preferred.
