Montanans for Tester is looking for a Social Media Manager 


Montanans for Tester is looking for a Social Media Manager for the 2024 election cycle. This person will be responsible for calendaring, writing, posting, and tracking analytics for the campaign’s social media platforms. This person is a team player, ready and willing to collaborate across departments to help reelect the Senate’s only working dirt farmer.


Location: This person will be expected to relocate to Billings, Montana ASAP

Reports to: Digital Director | Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis


Responsibilities:

• Work with the deputy digital content director to execute the campaign’s online communication strategy through social media platforms Twitter, Facebook, Threads, Instagram, and Youtube

• Write compelling copy that is relevant, engages supporters, and grows our online presence 

• Create and manage multiple content calendars

• Track and analyze metrics to make data-driven decisions based on results

• Develop rapid response to amplify campaign’s overall goals

• Draft social media toolkits for supporters 

• Gather assets at campaign events and post live social media updates

• Be on top of new and exciting trends 


Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of experience assisting with social media platforms for a candidate, organization,

or brand (internships count); campaign experience is a plus but not required

• Experience writing content that drives action and maintains a consistent voice

• Eagerness to learn new platforms 

• Be highly creative and ready to tell stories in a unique way

• Strong attention to detail with ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines 

• Basic fluency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus


Compensation: $4,500/month
