Overview
FH Strategies is a Democratic fundraising firm. We are hiring a finance director to manage multiple campaign finance programs. This position will report to, and work directly with, the firm's two partners. There is the opportunity for promotion based on work quality. This is a full-timed, salaried hire (ie, not a cycle-based job).
Qualifications
Requirements:
- At least one cycle as a finance director or deputy finance director on a targeted race
- Proficient with NGP, Google Sheets, & Microsoft Excel
- This is a remote position with potentially in-person events
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage details and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication ability
- Must have a reliable laptop and cell phone
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Oversee multiple campaign fundraising operations
- Create and execute finance plans
- Staff virtual call time, meetings with high dollar donors, and events
- Track pledges and handle call-time follow-up
- Identify and target prospective donors for candidate outreach
- Write and create fundraising emails as needed
- All other responsibilities as assigned
Compensation: $75,000+ per year depending on experience plus health insurance & a 401k with an employer match.
