Job Description

Director of Client Services

The Brigid Alliance seeks to add a Director of Client Services to its team to help our organization enter its next phase of growth beckoned by an increasing need for travel support among abortion seekers in the US.

About:

The Brigid Alliance (501c3) is a nation-wide referral-based service that provides client centered support to individuals who must travel long distances for later abortion care, and who cannot afford to do so. We customize and fund itineraries that include transportation, lodging, connections to volunteers, meals, childcare reimbursement; and support our clients by staying in touch with them throughout their travels. We work in partnership with independent and nationally affiliated clinics, abortion funds, local and regional practical support organizations.

Since launching in August of 2018, we have assisted almost 1,000 clients from 45 states. We are a crucial part of the reproductive health ecosystem connecting the geographic and metaphorical dots between policy, providers, practice, and patient. By alleviating the logistical barriers and financial obstacles of access to care, we are ensuring that everyone has the choice protected by Roe v. Wade—no matter where they live.
